Drambuie Late Night Pursuits offer free comedy night using mobile ticketing

27th November 2008: Drambuie Late Night Pursuits offers a free comedy night in Camden at Koko, all tickets are to be issued via SMS using Eagle Eye Solutions mobile ticketing service. Users register on the Drambuie web site and their ticket is sent to them via SMS to their mobile. The SMS contains a unique code that is entered into a PDA on the door to validate the ticket.

UPDATE: The service was a huge success. Drambuie sent out reminder text messages to everyone who had applied for tickets just prior to the event, which resulted in a massive turnout of people.

This event clearly shows again the success rate and public acceptance of mobile ticketing. With unique tickets and realtime verification (to reduce counterfeit tickets) both the consumer and the event owners have found a ticketing mecahnic which meets their needs.
